THE 2010 BUSHRANGERS SPORTSMANS LUNCH
Looking for a great afternoon of entertainment - lots of fun and plenty of entertainment - food and drinks.
Our special guest MC is non other than Warren Smith along with special guest Greg Alexander from the FOX SPORTS commentary team.
Try and find a better way to spend a Friday arvo - so tell your boss u need the day off, organise your numbers and book your tickets. Tickets are $80 per head or tables of 10 $800.

RAISING MONEY FOR CURE OUR KIDS
Mick Tiskins and the gang have been working hard to raise some money for this wonderful charity – something that is close to all our hearts.
With the clubs support we are aiming towards a goal of $20,000. So far they have raised about $2,250 through weekly BBQ’s that are run at the Mean Fiddler.

So to all our Bushrangers – drop into the Mean Fiddler – grab a sausage sandwich and help a great cause. Also keep an eye out on the website for updates on our progress towards hitting our target.
CHARITY BOXING MATCH

A CHALLENGE HAS BEEN ISSUED
The Rouse Hill Renegades (yes I know they are a Rugby Club) are holding a charity boxing night (click on the pic for details). The general idea is that you can sponsor someone to get in the ring and take on anyone else.
For example:
The Bushrangers could raise say $1,000 for their President to take on say the President of Baulkham Hills Bulls (are you reading this Glen).
All monies raised will go to The Children’s Hospital and tickets to the night start at $25 ($35 for ringside).
I am putting up my hand here and now for $1,000 sponsorship I will happily jump in the ring and take on whomever.

YOU are invited to the 2010 Gala Day Saturday 8 August 2010 at Ollie Webb Reserve.
The day will commence at 9-00am and conclude around 3pm.

We are currently running one of our mini clinics - focusing on Tackling technique every Monday evening. Please note that we are now opening it to 11 and 12 year olds as well - so if your Bushranger kids ages 6 through to 12 are looking for some extra tackling training bring them on down.
It starts at 6pm and Simon & James have enjoyed it so much the clinic will run indefinately until further notice.
We will also be running clinics on evasion and ball handling so don't forget to keep checking back here for further information.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Parramatta Junior League has released a memo in relation to enforcement of the Code of Conduct. This should not be an issue for our club but everyone (players, coaches, trainers and spectators) should be very aware of Parramatta’s stance.
