COACHES
COACHES, MANAGERS & TRAINERS
Please remember that the coach of your childs team, like you, is probably a parent and if not, is definitely a volunteer. They perform this role not for payment, but for a love of the game, a desire to assist and teach your kids the skills of the game of Rugby League and a commitment to The Bushrangers Club.

Not all are born negotiators or accredited childcare workers and each has a different way of performing their role, but all are very good coaches. They deserve your respect and assistance. All coaches are required to have at least a Level 1 coaching certificate. A number of our coaches within the club are Level 2 graded. As a club we spend a lot of time “coaching the coaches” to ensure they are teaching the players the correct skills and techniques for the relevant age groups.

Most coaches are “parents” and are volunteering their time and efforts as a club we are extremely grateful for their contributions.

We are working toward finalising our coaching team for the 2010 year. At present we still have a couple of positions available. If you would like to consider taking up a coaching role please contact either
Jeff Quick or our Secretary Penny Morgan.

MATCH REPORTS
Please take the time out to submit a match report for the kids after each game. You would be surprised just how many of our players jump onto their computers to see if they got a mention in the weeks newsletter.

Match Reports should be emailed to
jquick@unwired.com.au by Monday 6:00pm each week.

GAME SHEETS
All Managers are required to return to the Club Secretary all game sheets from EVERY game each week. If you play away bring the game sheet to training and give it to Penny Morgan or Jeff. If you play at home it is very easy to give the sheet to whoever is there on the day.

DO NOT KEEP THEM OR THROW THEM AWAY. THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT IF THERE ARE ANY DISCREPANCIES LATER IN THE YEAR.
